In this inspiring DIY workshop, you will learn how to give old or plain furniture a completely new look using color and creative techniques. Whether you are a beginner or already have some experience - this course is perfect for discovering or expanding your craft skills!

What to expect in the workshop

You will receive in-depth basic knowledge about:

• Materials & substrates: Which surfaces are suitable for what?
• Sanding & preparation: information on abrasives, grits and tools.
• Repairs & pre-treatments: Filling, puttying and gluing made easy.
• Tools: The right choice of brushes, rollers and more.
• Paints & varnishes: Primers, barrier primers, water-based and solvent-based varnishes.
• Color design: Introduction to color systems such as RAL and NCS as well as color scanners.
• Creative techniques: Decorative design options with metallic paints.

Design your own workpiece

After initial exercises on a practice board, you can apply what you have learned directly: Design and finish your own solid wood step stool. Thanks to a large selection of colors (25-30 shades) and optional design options such as metallic highlights, your workpiece is guaranteed to be an eye-catcher.
