A summer evening in the palace - and chamber music as it once sounded through baroque state rooms: Ensemble Perpetuum Regensburg dedicates this special concert to the exciting transition from trio to quartet in the 18th century.

With works by Telemann, Händel, Fasch, Goldberg and the rediscovered Regensburg court conductor Joseph Riepel, a fascinating sound between tradition and new beginnings is created. The additional fourth voice opens up new tonal possibilities and brings depth, harmony and expressiveness to the music.

The historic Nymphenburg Palace provides the ideal setting for this baroque sound journey. On historical instruments and with great stylistic finesse, Perpetuum Regensburg brings the music of this era to life - powerful, sensitive and very close to its original splendor.
