PETER DAHM QUARTETT

Peter Dahm returns to the Sendesaal with his favorite quartet. Is that folk? Is it jazz? Is it chamber music? It's Peter Dahm and his quartet! For many years, saxophonist and composer Peter Dahm has been working on music that challenges boundaries.

The Weser Kurier writes: "Peter Dahm's music is wide-ranging. It ranges from sometimes sensitive, sometimes gripping modern jazz to Balkan folklore, touches on klezmer classics as well as Turkish-Arabic motifs, has Indian echoes and also velvety South African sonorities."

It is music with beautiful melodies, coming from the soul and performed with love. With the instrumentation of drums/ bass clarinet/ guitar/ saxophone, he achieves an acoustic sound that he has always dreamed of for this music.
