ISA: Homage to a forgotten artist - a music theater project.
Isa Vermehren - cabaret artist, actress, singer, nun and principal of the Sophie Barat School in Hamburg. An unusual woman who gave strength and comfort to many people during the National Socialist era with her cheeky tongue, her rousing singing and her humanity. The pupils of the Sophie Barat School approach Isa Vermehren in a musical-theatrical way and ask what significance the work of this extraordinary artist can have for us today.
