Massimo Silverio (Italy)

Massimo Silverio is a songwriter and musician born in 1992 in Cercivento (Udine) in the heart of the historic Carnia region. He writes and sings in his mother tongue, a minority language called "Carnic", which is spoken in the Carnic Alps in Friuli Venezia Giulia. Between the charm of the borderland and the tradition of an ancient language, Silverio has created his own personal aesthetic of poetry and sound, mixing classical and modern, folk and experimental, acoustic, electro-acoustic and electronic. He translates his great fantasy of imaginary places and mountains, rivers, faces and ancient rites into music through the use of classical instruments such as cello, double bass, prepared percussion instruments, piano or folk instruments such as the guzla - instrument of the Dinaric Alps - but also synthesizers, guitars and organs, and above all the voice, which with its light and intimate timbre becomes the guide, mixing Carnic and English languages to tell a minority yet universal story.

Daniela Pes (Italy)

It is almost impossible to categorize Daniela Pes' music into one musical genre. She was born in 1992 in Tempo Pausania, Sardinia, into a family of musicians. The "modern mermaid" quickly became an eclectic and multi-faceted talent. She studied jazz singing at the Sassari School of Jazz and secured a scholarship for the Nuoro Jazz Summer Seminars. Her tracks sound like a kind of soundstream, meandering between traditional Sardinian folk, electronic and experimental music. Her debut album "SPIRA" is the synthesis of Daniela's multifaceted musical life. It was celebrated as the best Italian album of the year and rightly received the prestigious Tenco Award for the best debut album. At her concerts, she stands alone on stage, turns the knobs of her Arturia Microfreak synthesizer and enchants her audience with her powerful voice.
