The Pink Movie Club is for everyone who wants to watch queer movies. Fancy a pre-Valentine's Day evening with us? ♥️

On February 13, we will be showing "The Wedding Banquet" in the original English version with German subtitles at the cinema in the Brotfabrik. It's about Min, who is frustrated with his friend Chris, who shies away from any commitment. Out of necessity, he makes a promise to his lesbian girlfriend Angela and her partner Lee - Min enters into a sham marriage with Angela in order to get a green card in the USA and obtain unrestricted work and residence rights. In return, he agrees to fulfill Lee's wish to have a child and pay for expensive treatment. Events come thick and fast when Min's grandmother surprises everyone with a lavish Korean wedding banquet.
