Pint of Science 2025 in Düsseldorf - science with beer and a bar stool

Pint of Science is an international science festival that takes research out of the ivory tower - and brings it directly into bars, pubs and cafés. Once a year, scientists in over 500 cities in 27 countries around the world talk about their work in a relaxed atmosphere - personal, understandable and close to real life.

On May 19 and 20, research, laughter and amazement will once again take place in Düsseldorf - in the middle of the pub! Researchers from Heinrich Heine University will leave their institutes and bring their topics directly to the bar.

In a cozy atmosphere, they provide exciting insights into current topics from biology, linguistics, physics and economics. Whether plant research, space travel or dialects - the lectures are entertaining, easy to understand and make you want more science in everyday life.
