Podiumsdiskussion: Innenstadt findet oben statt

Due to structural change, German city centers are increasingly facing major challenges. At the same time, structural change is an opportunity to try out new ideas and uses in the city center. obenstadt e.V . is addressing this with this year's Hamburg Roof Days under the motto "Innenstadt findet oben statt" (City center takes place on top) and would like to focus on inner-city roof areas as potential open, cultural, adventure, green and energy-generating spaces.

Together with experts from various fields, we will discuss the potential that rooftops can have for a sustainable, future-proof and diverse city center and its residents. We will also discuss the challenges of implementing roof uses as well as suggestions and ideas for promoting and demanding more roof uses in city centers.

We are delighted to welcome the following guests to the panel: Klaus Hoppe (Head of Department Landscape Planning and Urban Greenery, Hamburg Ministry for the Environment, Climate, Energy and Agriculture (BUKEA)), Dr. Michael Marret-Foßen (Fachverband Garten-, Landschafts- und Sportplatzbau Hamburg e.V.), Tina Unruh (Managing Director of the Hamburg Foundation for Building Culture (HSBK)) and Julian Benesch (Partner at Landschaftsarchitektur+).
