How do we want to continue building when we already have everything we need?
Between material innovation, rediscovered knowledge, and new building practices, Studio Frugal Bauen, Maire Cordts (MYCO+), and Samuel Barckenhausen will discuss the future of construction. Together, we’ll explore what we might need to unlearn in order to build more sustainably and simply, and what role education, experimentation, and materials can play in this process.
The event is specifically aimed at students and provides a space for exchange among experts, young designers, urban developers, and anyone interested in the topic.
Admission is by donation. The event is part of the Hamburg Architecture Summer 2026 and is organized by Architects for Future, PIA: Women in Architecture e.V., and Urbaneo.
