For seven months, poets from all over the German-speaking world fought to win the Zeise Poetry Slam of Kampf der Künste, building thought palaces and tearing them down again with empty words, throwing punchlines around and rhyming like there's no tomorrow. All this just to win a place in the grand annual finale at the Schauspielhaus! Because in addition to the best texts, the most beautiful rhymes and the craziest jokes, it's not just the spoken word that takes center stage - the winner of the Poetry Slam Final goes home with trophies and the title of Battle of the Arts Annual Champion 2025.
So it's not just cheers, hustle and bustle - this is about fame and honor.

Johanna Wack
The one and only: Johanna Wack is a living poetry slam legend! She was already part of the first Kampf der Künste shows and even back then she won pretty much every slam there was to win with her dry humor, keen powers of observation and ambiguous texts. And as you can see, she has remained true to this.
Julius Keinath
Sometimes subtle and sarcastic, sometimes full of attitude and always with wit, Julius Keinath is one of the most sought-after slam poets of our time. The Kiel resident by choice delights audiences, whether with reports from the Ikea warehouse or a dating protocol by Karl Lauterbach, his texts ignite and ignite an unparalleled explosion of atmosphere.
Isa Bögerhausen
Sometimes playful and dreamy, sometimes with attitude and provocativeness, Isa Bögerhausen has become one of Hamburg's top slam poets. She alternates gallantly between humor and harsh reality without cynicism or bitterness, between opinion text and mind games, she plays the stages of the world, puts her index finger in the wounds without raising it, but never without a spark of hope and a friendly wink.
Fabian Navarro
The prodigal son returns: Fabian Navarro, exiled from Hamburg and newly Viennese, is still one of the best-known poetry slammers in the DACH region. He writes wonderful stage poetry, sometimes full of rhyming lyricism, sometimes snippy prose, but audiences also enjoy his long-form novels, both the cat thrillers and his forthcoming Vienna novel! On top of that, he is a luminary within AI poetry, and anyone who doesn't know this should google Eloquentron3000 immediately.
Evgenija Kosov
True masterpieces are painted with words at the poetry slams of the Republic and Evgenija Kosov often wields the brush! On the one hand, she performs touching texts about her origins and her own feelings, and on the other, she nonchalantly strolls around the country's clubs and theaters as a stand-up artist.
Lea Weber
Lea Weber is a literary force of nature, adept in every genre and every genre, she meanders from slam to slam and usually takes first place with gratitude.
