Literature is not neutral - it can take a stand, offer resistance and shape social debates. But what responsibility do publishers and authors bear in times of growing right-wing movements?
The alliance "Publishers against the Right" stands for an alert, diverse and respectful literary industry, and author Mia Raben also advocates a view of precarious and migrant lifestyles in her texts. In conversation, Harriet Dohmeyer (Ankerwechsel Verlag, Bündnis "Verlage gegen rechts") and Mia Raben will discuss how literature can act as a tool against right-wing ideologies and what challenges are associated with this. An evening about the political dimension of publishing and writing.
