Polyester Club, led by Mr. Olsen and Senior Kiez, has been a Leipzig institution for decades when it comes to soul, funk, and rare grooves. This time, the Leipzig veterans have teamed up with the nine-piece disco band Extraviolette for their first-ever collaboration. With their sound, Extraviolette brings the disco era of the 1970s and ’80s back to the stage and has already made a name for itself with the“Disconized” party seriesat the Neues Schauspiel and the Moritzbastei. Will this fusion of the ’60s and ’70s work out? Come find out! ...and just to be safe, be sure to pack your dancing shoes!
