Porträtkonzert George Lewis

George Lewis, successful improvisation musician, pioneer of computer music and pioneer of decolonization, is coming to the HfMDK Frankfurt in June for his third and final phase of work.

Together with the International Ensemble Modern Academy IEMA and the Master Bigband, he will enter the field of improvisation and attempt to lure the ensembles out of their comfort zones in a three-day workshop on his work "Arcades". This and other works for ensemble, string quartet and small formations, which we worked on together with the composer, will be performed on June 11 in the portrait concert at Frankfurtlab.
