A power-critical magic show. In this show, Christo makes Schleiff things appear, robs a person from the audience of his powers and even survives a pistol shot - like his former role model Jean Eugène Robert-Houdin, who traveled to North Africa to supposedly prevent an uprising in occupied Algeria. Today Christo reveals the trick how ethnologists used this invented story to give racism an apparent scientific foundation. And asks the question: How much structural power is there in every magic show?
