To mark the end of the school year, the Vienna Symphony Orchestra invites you to a summer open-air concert in Vienna’s Prater. Pack your picnic basket and enjoy a colorful concert program on the Kaiserwiese against the spectacular backdrop of the Vienna Giant Ferris Wheel to kick off your summer vacation.Free admission!
Due to the one-time postponement of the Danube Island Festival, the Vienna Symphony Orchestra will move its Prater Picnic up by one day. In 2026, the Prater Picnic will take place on Wednesday, July 1, and Thursday, July 2.
