Training for volunteers who support people seeking protection

• What is human trafficking?
• How do I recognize human trafficking - especially among refugees?
• What do I do if I suspect it?
• What can I do to prevent human trafficking?

The Lichtblicke project helps people who are affected by human trafficking or violence.

Especially in cases of gender-specific violence in the asylum system and people who belong to the at-risk group.

The project is implemented throughout Germanyby the International Rescue Committee Germany and the specialist anti-trafficking counseling centers SOLWODI.

What can you expect?

Block I (online)Basics on the topic of human trafficking (definition, forms of exploitation, recruitment methods, risk factors, indicators, support landscape in Munich and beyond).

Block II (in person) Joint reflection and exchange of experiences to develop the appropriate procedure in case of suspicion and prevention strategies based on practical case studies.

After participating in Block I and Block II, you will receive a certificate.

Dates:

Block I: Monday, 12.01.2026, 18:00 - 20:30 online via Zoom.

Block II: Thursday, 22.01.2026, 18:00 - 21:00 in presence (at Corneliusstraße 2, 80469 Munich).
