In this play by Johannes Galli, the biblical story of the birth of Jesus is presented with a great deal of humor in a traditional yet contemporary way: The angel's announcement that Mary will give birth to a son whose name will be Jesus, Mary and Joseph's search for a hostel when they can't find a free place among the people during the busy Christmas season, Herod's rebellion against the holy child, the shepherds and three kings who come to pay homage to the child in the manger.
The children watching can even play along themselves. Great fun for young and old!
