Back to the future!

On the weekend of December 5-7, we will approach the question "Where to now?" from a post-migrant Jewish perspective. In literature, film, stand-up and discussions, we will address immigration from the countries of the former Soviet Union to Israel and Germany, from Ethiopia to Israel and, of course, re-immigration into German post-war society. This ends the program's focus, which began with the immediate post-war period, in the present. At the end, the question of the beginning remains: Where to now?

From December 5-7, the artistic symposium "Present Perfect - Back to the Future" will explore Jewish migration movements since the 1980s in readings, feature films, documentaries and short films as well as discussions. The three days can be visited individually or as a complete package with the combined ticket.
