Young policeman Cristi draws a strict line between professional and private life. When the screening of a queer film is disrupted by homophobic ultra-nationalists, his squad is called to the local cinema. There he not only encounters the angry mob, but also an old acquaintance. When the latter threatens to out him, the situation spirals out of control. Set in the limited time frame of 24 hours, director Eugen Jebeleanu stages the inner struggle of a man in a toxic, masculine environment with haunting intensity.
