PHILLIPA THOMAS
was born in the UK and studied music at the University of York, where she completed her Master's degree in singing.
In 2019, she began a close
close association with the Cologne Opera, where she appeared in Il trovatore, Miranda (Purcell), and Hamlet (Brett Dean).
Other engagements include Haydn's Nelson Mass (Royal Philharmonic Orchestra), Duruflé's Requiem (Bristol Choral Society), Mahler's Symphony No. 2 (King's College Cambridge), Handel's Messiah (Birmingham Festival Choral and more.
MEGHAN BEHIEL
is a native of Calgary, Canada, and performs regularly throughout Europe and North America.
She recently went on a concert tour throughout Switzerland. Here she performed as a soloist with the St. Paul Orchestra in the country's most important concert halls, playing both Schumann's Allegro Appassionata op.92 and Betthoven's Triple Concerto for piano, violin and cello.
She has also performed with the Bern Symphony Orchestra.
Her interpretation of Liszt's Totentanz was broadcast live nationwide by Swiss Radio Klassik.
Meghan has been an official brand ambassador for Kawai Europe since 2016. As such, she presents the latest Kawai models throughout Europe.
BOTH IN CONCERT
Even if love in life is never perfect, Phillipa Thomas and Meghan Behiel interpret it perfectly and highly professionally on this journey of discovery between historical opera hits, lively operetta melodies and more contemporary musical songs.
They integrate virtuoso piano runs time and again to create a multifaceted concert program.
