In this co-production, the team led by director Ana Luz Ormazábal explores the concept of propaganda and examines how right-wing indoctrination in particular influences individuals and social groups today. The focus is on the targeted exploitation of social media for propagandistic purposes: whether it is the concealment of hate speech or the targeted promotion of polarization, anger and fear on the internet.

The production raises the question of how we can sharpen our critical view of (dis)information and combines historical findings with current debates: How do propaganda techniques shape perceptions and power structures, and how are they perpetuated across cultures and historical eras?
