The co-founders of modern post-punk are returning to Germany in February 2027 for three shows!

Since their 2012 debut album “No Passion All Technique,” the Detroit post-punk band has perfected the art of bringing places to life through their sound: their music reflects the grueling humility of their hometown in the Midwest. Protomartyr—singer Joe Casey, guitarist Greg Ahee, drummer Alex Leonard, and bassist Scott Davidson—have become synonymous with biting, impressionistic collages of politics and poetry. Iggy Pop probably summed it up best when he simply called Protomartyr “the best band we’ve got in America right now.” Distorted guitars and reverb-soaked spoken vocals that hover between frustration and sarcasm. All backed by a rhythmic foundation that drives the music forward with equal parts precision and uncompromising intensity.
