And many other people don't act the way we, the good™ and normal© people, would like them to. Why is that the case? Perhaps part of the answer can be found in this book, which has been languishing on well-stocked shelves for many years, waiting to be read: "Psychology of the Masses" by the French physician, psychologist and anthropologist Gustave Le Bon. It was written in 1895 and is not only considered a standard work of sociology, but also inspirational reading for people like Goebbels and Lenin. Then there must be something to it! Perhaps Le Bon wrote down what each of us has always known deep down: "Everyone else is stupid and manipulable, except me."
