PURPLE - Internationales Tanzfestival für junges Publikum

The international dance festival PURPLE presents contemporary dance productions for a young audience with the aim of getting children and young people interested in dance and making them curious about contemporary performances. The stage program is aimed at audiences from the age of six and reflects the multifaceted nature of contemporary dance in terms of both content and aesthetics.

Together with the cooperation partners Uferstudios, HAU Hebbel am Ufer, TANZKOMPLIZEN, jugendtheaterwerkstatt Spandau, Theater an der Parkaue and Berlin schools, PURPLE offers a professional stage program for different age groups as well as discussion formats and free workshops for school classes in collaboration with the participating artists. The festival also offers free dance workshops for children and young people at the weekends.
