The new album "Pigeons, Politicians & Pin-Ups During the End Time of Mankind" by Puts Marie is a sonically dense, dark and uncompromisingly independent journey through decaying places and emotional abysses. The band from Biel combines influences from indie rock, jazz and rap to create a profound, hypnotic sound that unfolds far away from classic song structures. After more than 20 years of band history, Puts Marie is mature, experimental and focused. Created in the rehearsal room and recorded on tape, the six songs are reduced, atmospheric and intense - music like a well-aged whisky: raw, refined and full of depth.
