Putting Rock’n Roll into Folk

Ludwig Wright, a British-German songwriter, poet and performer, harmonizes rock 'n' roll and folk with self-confessed sing-along melodies. Musically, he is the child of Elvis Presley and Joni Mitchell.

He sings in English, has played street shows all over Europe and over 200 concerts to date, performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and made his debut with two brilliant shows at the Ru- dolstadt Festival 2023.

In his luggage, the artist has his current, third album "Turn of Tides or Where the Waves Come From", which was released in 2023. It is a collection of stories with the sea as a backdrop. The maritime motif runs like a common thread through the 13 songs.
Ludwig Wright, who has a British father and a German mother, was able to recruit producer Micki Meuser for the recordings, who has already worked with the likes of Ina Deter, Silly and Die Ärzte.
