QEONE w/ CEM, CCL, COLA REN, Polygonia, YYARD

In the organizer's words:

QEONE is our resident Polygonia's imprint for music that earns its place through sound design rather than genre tags: organic timbres, percussive complexity and an openness to any tempo or form. For its takeover in late April, the label brings an international cast to Blitz, flanked by two guests who have each built their own dancefloor communities from the very bottom.

CCL's Subglow was born at Berlin's OHM with clear intent: a queer party built around bass music, filling the gap in a city where queer events tend towards house and techno and bass nights pull a different room. Born in London, raised across Washington D.C., Moscow and Rome before longer stints in Bristol and Seattle, CCL has been calling Berlin their base since 2019 and crafts sets, or perhaps better: stories that move through UK sound system culture, dub, drum & bass and psychedelic electronics, flanked by destinct sonic sensibility too fluid for a single genre to hold.

CEM co-founded Herrensauna in 2015 as a response to his perception of Berlin nightlife's stagnation: an intimate and private, queer-led techno platform whose name nods to the culture of gay men's saunas. Raised in Vienna with Turkish roots, drawn first to hardcore punk before discovering techno. His sets are embody Herrensauna's ethos and are as hard-edged as they are seductive and his recent works as a solo artist and with his band 33 unveil his eclectic influences and interests.

Joining CCL & CEM are our resident Polygonia, QEONE's founder, joined by Cola Ren, the Guangzhou-born, world-versed producer whose Forest Drone EP on QEONE moved through ambient, breakbeat and downtempo, shaped by years of travel. Last but not least we're joined by: YYARD, the Cologne-rooted jazz pianist and producer Yannis Anft, who owes inspiration both to the club and conservatoire and has released an EP titled San Astéria EP on QEONE.
