Quadro Nuevo - HAPPY Deluxe

Quadro Nuevo stands for music that combines a thirst for adventure, joie de vivre and a love of art. Each piece tells of journeys, cultural encounters and the fascination for sounds that the world has to offer.

Since its foundation in 1996 by childhood friends Mulo Francel and Didi Lowka, Quadro Nuevo has conquered countless stages - from Helsinki to Hong Kong, from the Caucasus to New York's Carnegie Hall. Their music combines influences from jazz, tango, world music and folk, played with a unique, audacious virtuosity that has won several awards.

The current ensemble:
Mulo Francel: saxophone, clarinets, mandolin
Andreas Hinterseher: accordion, bandoneon, trumpet
Didi Lowka: bass, drums
Chris Gall: piano

The album HAPPY Deluxe reflects the range of their adventures - from Latin American rhythms to European melodies, carried along by an atmosphere that sweeps the audience away.
