Following in the footsteps of its predecessors, the queer group at HFF Munich is curating a short film evening with queer HFF films from the past.
For the short film program "Crossing Timelines Vol. II", the queer group at HFF Munich went in search of films that told queer stories before the current generation of students. Short films were found that were made at the HFF before 2010 and deal with queer themes in very different forms.
The evening is intended to provide an opportunity to delve into the cinematic past and reflect on how queer stories were told back then and what visual and linguistic spaces were available for them.
A re-screening from the HFF archive was made possible by the CreatiF Center.
Afterwards, there will be an opportunity to enter into conversation and discuss what traces these films have left behind to this day and how we want to tell stories today.
