On a summer's day in New York, everything seems to happen all at once for young trans Latino Feña: Dad Pablo comes to visit from Chile and suddenly seeks contact, his heterosexual ex-boyfriend John gets in touch again after months of radio silence and then his 13-year-old half-sister Zoe shows up at the door. But since Feña's transition, the dynamics with all three of them have changed. He asks himself how much closeness with the people from his old life feels right.
