Shut up, the first one! - Welcome to the film set

The magic begins in the darkness of the movie theater ... the curtain rises, the lights go out ... and suddenly you find yourself in a different world. Every movie is like a journey to strange places, into the unknown.

But how does this actually work? How do films always manage to reach our hearts?
This year, we want to take a closer look behind the scenes and find out what actually happens on the film set. It won't just be about cameras and acting, but also about animation, stop-motion tricks, sounds and music and much more.
And of course there are many very special productions in the festival program: the series ranges from old silent films in black and white to documentaries that are not documentaries to stories in which the supporting characters play the leading role. Are you excited? So are we.

As always, the Rabazz film festival is on the move all over Leipzig, stopping off at many different venues. In the supporting program from 3 to 7 June at the Cineding cinema, an entire film set comes to life and invites you to discover it. In addition, interesting workshops and training courses can be attended.
The Rabazz team is looking for new members and in the first week of the summer vacations you can pick up the camera yourself and produce your own stories for the "Visionale Leipzig" media competition.

Rabazz is aimed at all children from the age of 4 as well as teenagers and young adults.
