Contemporary puppet, figure, object and material theater goes far beyond classic children's theater. It places material on an equal footing with the human. Inseparably linked to the question of how we locate ourselves among things, the art form reflects central themes of our time - from gender and transhumanism to colonialism, consumption and digitality to humanity's search for a new position in the world.
RADIKAL DINGLICH!, the documentary film by Bündnis KompleXX Figurentheater and filmmaker Alexander Hector, provides fascinating insights into a surprisingly diverse and vibrant scene for newcomers and connoisseurs alike.

Bündnis KompleXX Figurentheater is funded by the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media on the basis of a decision by the German Bundestag via the "Promoting Connections" program of the Bundesverband Freie Darstellende Künste e.V. (Federal Association of Independent Performing Arts).
