In the organizer's words:

Dear friends, dear companions,

We are dissolving Radio Havana with a farewell tour in January 2024.

When we were eleven years old, we started to take an interest in music. At thirteen, everyone had their instruments and we just started. When we were fifteen, we founded Radio Havana and have since played over 700 concerts: in Brazil, the USA, Sweden, Germany, Switzerland and Austria. In the 21 years since then, there have been life highlights that we will never forget. We have made friends for life around the globe: From AJZs in Saxony to a hairdressing salon in Rio de Janeiro, living room concerts in Peine to the biggest stages at German festivals, it's all been there. We were able to play concerts with our favorite musicians and absolute role models and released eight albums.

The last few years have taken a lot of energy. And we've also realized that we want to focus our energy on other topics that have nothing to do with the band. In 21 years of band history, we have never taken a long break and have always had our foot on the gas pedal. It was never our thing to run this project with only half an ass cheek as a leisure activity. And that's why we want to stop this machine now.

We would like to say a million thanks to those who made this wild ride possible in the first place: Our families and partners, bookers, labels, promo people and producers. Above all, our live crew, with whom we have grown together like a family over the years. But the biggest thank you goes to you - our supporters, fans, companions and visitors: We are forever grateful to you.

We want to leave together with you once again and bury the dog together. We want to do a grandiose last lap with you and hammer the nails into the coffin together.
