Futuristic improvisations on the cello FX
With space and time effects, the discreetly amplified cello transforms the venue into a singing underwater world, into spherical expanses, into bizarre interiors of alien universes. The music is difficult to categorize, but the sensitive play with sounds and musical ideas draws the listener into the musical narratives.
Uwe Schade studied cello with Tadao Kataoka, Peter Mengel and Karl Hermann Jellinek. Since 1986 he has worked as a music performer for dance and theater productions. 1995 permanent member of Theater Triebwerk, since 2004 artistic director.
