In the organizer's words:
Imagine a meadow. In front of the meadow is a stage. In front of the stage are people having a great time. You could be one of them. The radioeins Parkfest is back. August 22 through 30 at the Park am Gleisdreieck. Nine whole days of concerts, comedy, readings, and so much more. Free and open-air.
The radioeins Parkfest kicks off today with a fantastic lineup right from the start.
First up, for the little ones:
1:30 p.m. Cally Strong with an interactive reading from “Die Straßengäng”
2:30 p.m. Family pop by Anton
For the active and meditative types:
3:00 p.m. Soulyoga Flow on the lawn (don’t forget your towel)
4:15 p.m. Four Directions Meditation
For those who love to play:
3:00 p.m. Bingo with Ludwig Henze (Fritz)
There will also be games on the lawn, delicious food, bocce courts, and the radioeins music quiz (with official concert tickets as prizes).
Things really get going at 7:00 PM. radioeins host Max Spallek will then officially open the Parkfest on the radio as well. Austrian singer Oskar Haag will kick things off—inspired by the Beatles, he began writing his own songs in 2020. Despite numerous offers from various record labels, he decided to start his own label. He’ll captivate you with his emotionally charged stage presence.
Next up is the master of mischievous, endless loops that will at least make you smile—and quite possibly have you crying with laughter: the shy, clever Fil is finally back on the radioeins Parkfest stage. Don’t miss it!
Next up is the quintessentially Berlin band Grateful Cat, featuring Gwendolin Tägert and Franky Fuzz, who sing about everyday life and questions about the end of the world.
Next up isElfi, a duo that stirs up a mix of Neue Deutsche Welle, dream pop, and dive-bar chanson.
COMA will wrap up the first evening with their indie-electro sound. Georg Conrad and Marius Bubat move fluidly between a wide variety of sounds and are constantly tweaking their sound. Let yourself be surprised by which direction they take tonight.
The radioeins Parkfest runs through August 30 at Park am Gleisdreieck. Free and outdoors.
