radioeins Parkfest: Ab17, Acht Eimer Hühnerherzen, AB Syndrom, Michael Krebs & Wiesendisko
In the organizer's words:
The weekend is just around the corner, and if that alone isn’t reason enough to celebrate, the radioeins Parkfest offers at least one more good reason. Through August 30, we’ll be celebrating in the Park am Gleisdreieck with concerts, readings, comedy, and so much more. It’s free and open-air.
Kathrin and Tommy Wosch will kick things off with their show—or rather, their podcast—“Ab 17,”live from the Parkfest stage. What absurdities and experiences will they be sharing today?
Afterward, host Gesa Ufer will welcome the evening’s first musical guest: AB Syndrom. Anton Bruch and Bennet Seuss have been making electronic and experimental pop music together since 2017. It’s been two years since they last rocked the Parkfest stage!
Michael Krebs will then offer some subtle irony to make you think and laugh. That’s exactly what the title of his current show, “Optimism—Now Heavily Discounted,” suggests.
Then things get loud again. The Kreuzberg trio Acht Eimer Hühnerherzen brings not only energy but also chaos and cryptic vibes to the stage. Apocalypse Vega, Herr Bottrop, and Bene Diktator are a well-rehearsed team who draw on influences from punk rock, indie-folk, and doomsday pop. Doesn’t that sound like an exciting mix?
And after that? Well, it’s off to the meadow disco! Dancing the night away under the open sky is one of the best ways to end a summer evening. Steen Lorenzen and Cora Knoblauch bring energy and rhythm to the meadow....
