Radtour zum Künstlerhof von Helge Achenbach / Park der Sinne in Kooperation mit dem ADFC

Cycling, Chatting, Networking –Bike Tour to Helge Achenbach’s Artist Farm / Park of the Senses in cooperation with the ADFC
We’ll visit art consultant Helge Achenbach at his artist’s estate near Kaarst. His association, “Culture without Borders,” is based there and curates the“Park of the Senses,” which features art by Syrian and African artists, among others, impressively integrated into the landscape.

We’ll start at 12 p.m. at Apollo-Platz / Johannes-Rau-Platz under the Kniebrücke. We’ll ride along the left bank of the Rhine, past Albertus Lake, to the Heerdter Ökotop and Gut Dyckhoff.
Passing the Stingesbach, we’ll then take car-free paths to the “Park of the Senses.”
Helge Achenbach will guide us through his art farm, where we’ll enjoy food, drinks, art, and nature together.

The return trip goes through the Meerbusch Forest along the Altilverische Rheinschiene to the Lower Rhine Bridge (Airport Bridge). From there, we’ll take a leisurely bike ride along the Rhine to the Oberkassler Bridge and wrap up the day with a stop at the “Schwan” on Burgplatz. The tour is 42 kilometers long in total, and the route is mostly car-free.
