The setting is Babel - a legendary nightclub where Death himself comes and goes. Night after night, in the form of the cruel and always stylish La Flaca, he drains the lives of those who dare to challenge her in a game of chance. Like a spider, she sits at the center of a dense web of wriggling figures: Dante, her tragic messenger; the ghost Monet, who wants to return to his body; Timbí and Uma on their journey through hell; and Jacob, whose drag debut threatens to bring him into conflict with his family... Will they manage to break free?
