An evening full of beats, biographies and new perspectives on old age

The 85-year-old Polish DJ Vika breaks all clichés: the documentary VIKA! (Poland 2023, OmU) by award-winning director Agnieszka Zwiefka shows how self-realization, joie de vivre and music are possible even in old age.

Following the film screening, musician and composer Gunnar Geisse - known for his unusual "laptop-guitar" set-up that combines experimental improvisation, new music and digital sound processing - and Munich DJ Tante Frizzante will talk about creative ageing, artistic engagement by older people and a future in which different generations can meet musically.

As a crowning finale, Gunnar Geisse presents a 20-minute concert of his electronic music, in which he improvises complex soundscapes between analog guitar sounds and virtual instruments live with his "laptop guitar".

An electrifying evening full of beats, bass and inspiration about new perspectives on age.
