In the organizer's words:
Online, everyday life has long since become a genre of performance: feeding, whispering, unboxing, “Get ready with me.” Even motherhood is staged to fit the content feed. Reborn dolls—hyperrealistic baby replicas that are lovingly cared for on TikTok or Instagram—are just one particularly striking example of this.
In REBORN, Winnie Luzie Burz brings social media aesthetics to the theater stage. Digital archetypes are reenacted live and intersect with bodies, sound, and glitches—all while being simultaneously streamed via Twitch. Puppet theater, performance, and web streaming merge. REBORN isn’t really about babies. It’s about how the internet teaches us to perform intimacy.
REBORNby Winnie Luzie Burz explores social media as a contemporary form of staging and performative self-expression, for adults (ages 14 and up).

Solidarity-Based Pricing System: We want as many people as possible to be able to afford a visit to the Hamburg Puppet Theater. That’s why, in addition to the regular or reduced price, there are two other price tiers for adults. Anyone who is short on money for the theater right now is invited to pay the minimum price. Those who can easily afford to give more are encouraged to choose the supporter’s price. Choose your price at your own discretion.
