Regener Pappik Busch: Jazz
In the organizer's words:
"Actually, I always wanted to do jazz" - with this project, created in 2021, Sven Regener returns to his musical roots, the jazz trumpet. Together with his Element-Of-Crime bandmates Richard Pappik on drums and Ekkehard Busch on piano, Regener explores the world of jazz classics from Ellington to Gillespie and Monk. Jazz thing writes about the trio's second album, "Things to come": "The mood of the album resembles a Berlin version of Edward Hopper's famous painting 'Nighthawks'. It has something stale, smoky, midnight, overly exhausted."
