Navalny is dead, his courageous political resistance cost him his life. He was murdered by his opponent Putin. To mark the occasion, we are showing the Oscar-winning documentary NAWALNY at Studio Argento.

The film begins with secret recordings in the plane in which Navalny was to be murdered with the Russian nerve agent Novichok on his way to Siberia. He was only saved by an emergency landing and a transfer to the Charité hospital in Berlin - which his wife Julia pushed through against the wishes of the Russian government.

Like a political thriller, Daniel Roher documents and accompanies Navalny in shocking and equally personal moments. From the poison attack on the plane to his stay in Germany and his return to Moscow. Immediately after landing, he was arrested at the airport on behalf of the Russian government and Alexei Navalny has been in custody ever since. On February 15 or 16, 2024, he was murdered in the prison camp in Kharp on the orders of Russian President Putin, who is wanted by the International Criminal Court in The Hague.
