When was the last time you went on a discovery tour - right on your doorstep?

On May 9, the Neue Hammfeld will become your very own personal travel destination. A place that you might otherwise only drive past will become a landscape full of stopovers, changes of perspective and little adventures and a neighborhood in transition that you can experience up close.

Between noon and 6 p.m., you will embark on a route through a district that is currently reinventing itself: Follow the green axis like a travel route and discover sights along the way - snapshots of a place between yesterday and tomorrow.

Climb up to the high seat and enjoy the view. Write postcards from your "vacation on your doorstep". Collect impressions, solve the Hammfeld quiz and leave your own mark on the wish fence - with your ideas for the future of this special place.

Of course, every trip also includes a break and local delicacies: Lemonades and the Hammfeld Snack await you at the beach bar - perfect for a quick stopover.

If you want to delve deeper, the tour guide will take you on one of the guided tours and tell you more about the stories and changes in Hammfeld. And keep your eyes open: In the middle of your route, an unexpected natural spectacle awaits you - the first geysers of Neuss.

Whether it's a short excursion or an extended discovery tour - this journey starts right on your doorstep. And perhaps you will see your city with completely different eyes afterwards.
