REMIX ALMANYA rewrites the history of hip-hop. Murat Güngör and Hannes Loh bury "Deutschrap" and examine the country's biggest pop culture as the first post-migrant phenomenon that has changed Germany forever. With a feel for the scene and a critical view of politics and society, together with music journalist Uh-Young Kim, they trace the astonishing development from so-called guest worker to rap star - along historical upheavals, racism and empowerment against all odds
