Poets and thinkers are few and far between in Germany these days, which is why the satirists must step in!
And so, in their first joint cabaret show, René Sydow and Christian Miedreich take aim at everything German, exaggerating and caricaturing both politics and private life, and embodying German archetypes—as well as those who aspire to be one. In the process, they navigate the country and its people with a mix of silliness and intelligence, delivering spot-on and sharp jabs at the German national character.
Will we meet Goethe and Schiller, or just your average Joe and Jane? Will the evening be revealing? Will it be German—or even more German? Either way, it’ll be political cabaret with German thoroughness, but without any German chauvinism—after all, these two are MEN OF THE WORLD.
