Repair & Share Festival
In the organizer's words:
What happens if we make repairing, swapping, sharing, and buying secondhand the norm rather than the exception?
The Repair & Share Festival invites you to discover just that. On October 31, 2026, Wuppertal will transform into a gathering place for everyone who wants to throw away less and instead use things longer, repair them, and share them with others.
Look forward to hands-on activities, repair events, workshops, exhibitions, secondhand sales, exciting initiatives, and lots of people showing how the circular economy can work in practice.
The festival also marks the highlight of a state-wide attempt to set a world record: Throughout October, the goal is to repair more items in North Rhine-Westphalia than ever before. Together, we’re sending a message against the throwaway culture and in favor of a culture of repairing, passing things on, and reusing.
Whether you want to repair something yourself, are interested in sustainability, or simply want to enjoy an inspiring day—there’s plenty to experience at the Repair & Share Festival.
Free admission: Just bring a broken item with you, and we’ll fix it together.
