Rescue & Shelter Open Air 2026

Summer is just around the corner - and we're celebrating: On May 29 and 30, the Rescue and Shelter Open Air will enter its fifth round! A weekend full of music, exchange and lived solidarity awaits you on the grounds of the Prinz-Leopold-Kaserne.

It starts on Friday at 5 pm with a political picnic: exciting talks and workshops take a critical look at Europe's external borders and the planned deportation terminal at Munich Airport. There will also be the film "No Country for Nobody", a screen printing station and a relaxed end to the evening.

On Saturday, the grounds will be transformed into a colorful festival: look forward to live acts such as Poppo von Rott, Raveslut, Fritzi Noir and many more. Poetry slams, mime art and improv theater will provide creative moments on the cabaret stage. A special visual highlight: an impressive fire show that lights up the evening. And for all night owls: From 10 pm, the Sprengkollektiv from Nuremberg and the Regensburg collective Human Soul Interface will deliver a rave at its finest.

In addition to music and art, you can expect food and drinks for a donation, photo exhibitions, various interesting information stands, a family-friendly children's program and much more. If the weather doesn't cooperate, you can simply move to the covered area. The event will be accompanied by an awareness team, a medical service and a security team to ensure that everyone has a great time.

Best of all, all proceeds go to the sea rescue organization Sea-Eye and the SoliAsyl working group - celebrating for a good cause.
