Rhine in Flames Bonn 2026 - 40th anniversary

From May 1 to 3, 2026, the Rheinaue Bonn will once again be transformed into one of the largest open-air events in Germany. Rhein in Flammen Bonn celebrates its 40th anniversary - and also the last time in this form at this special location.

Look forward to a unique weekend with several stages, live music, food & adventure worlds and a diverse program for all generations. On Friday, May 1, 2026, you can look forward to the spectacular drone show "Ludwig travels around the world", an impressive interplay of light, music and state-of-the-art technology that will light up the sky over Bonn.

The big anniversary highlight will follow on Saturday, May 2, 2026: a unique combination of classic fireworks and an innovative drone show. In a perfectly coordinated choreography, both elements merge into an emotional work of art and ensure an unforgettable highlight of the weekend.

Sunday, 3 May 2026, is all about the family: from 11:00 to 18:00, the big children's and family day - presented by Plopsa Germany - invites you to a colourful program with stage shows, hands-on activities and many highlights for young and old.

Rhein in Flammen Bonn is of course free and open to the public and invites hundreds of thousands of visitors to experience unforgettable moments together in a unique atmosphere.
