A movie about death that celebrates life

Robert Widmer-Demuth, affectionately known as "Röbi", is a man who has been there for others all his life and is now going on his last journey with the same dedication. He knows that he will soon die. Instead of resisting the inevitable, Röbi accepts death without losing his love of life. He opens his home and his heart to the small film crew. He takes us on a journey through memories of his eventful life, his encounters with friends, walks with his dog and the immeasurable love for his family - and addresses the big questions that arise at the end of a life. An intimate yet universal film that sees death not as the end, but as part of life and approaches it with touching honesty and great care.
