"Make Art Not War"
She played the "cello" for Udo Lindenberg when she was awarded the Panic Prize for German newcomers the summer before last. The following year, the song poet and producer was honored by the Hanns Seidel Foundation.
Dancing, she switches from cello to ukulele, piano and synthesizer, her voice draws threads of poetry in the air. She tells stories of being on the road, of joie de vivre and deep connection. Ronja met her Argentinean partner and bassist Fede in Italy seven years ago, and since then the two have played many hundreds of concerts with various formations of their musical family ("BlueBird Orchestra"), traveled to numerous countries and translated their songs into various languages. "If it's beautiful, don't ask where the road takes you..."
LIVE, Ronja and Fede present the album on stage, together with Emily (keys), Kai (drums) and a variety of instruments, visual projections and play of lights, personal anecdotes and poetry... and the most important thing is YOU, is what is created in the room when people come together and listen to each other. Will you sing along?
